Recently, I had the opportunity to work with the organizers of the West Orange Pride Celebration. I cannot express how much it meant to me to be a sponsor of such a wonderful event. With the current rise in anti-LGBTQ+ legislation and rhetoric, it is an important time renew our commitment and support for the community.
While photographing the speeches and celebration, I couldn't help but feel captivated by the moments that took place around me. Watching the community come together to celebrate and support one another was truly inspiring and a reminder that sometimes the most beautiful moments in life come from the simplest of things.
As I reflect on my experiences, I am reminded of why I love what I do. As a photographer, I thrive off of capturing the purest and most authentic moments. Moments that tell the story of a time, a place, and most importantly, the people.
Working with the organizers of the West Orange Pride festival was an experience I will never forget. It allowed me to capture the spirit of the celebration in a way that words cannot describe. And for that, I am grateful.
